Printing Improvements

Some of you may be wondering what the point of the Print This Item button is. After all, when clicking on it, the only discernible result is that a "printing dialog" pops open. Essentially it seems that clicking the print button in you browser and clicking our print button are equivalent.

Indeed, this is correct. There is no actual difference between using your browser's print button or using ours. We simply placed the button there to highlight a new feature in this version of Brochos.com: All item pages are automatically formatted into a "printable version" when printing. There is no need to go to a printer-friendly version of the page.

This feature is enabled by default in practically all of the latest browsers. When printing, everything will disappear except the Brochos.com logo, title, picture (if available), article, and last updated date.

We hope you enjoy this feature,

The Official Brochos.com Blogger
